Job Summary

  • Strategic Initiatives: Drive key initiatives to enhance the quality of our sales team's communication with partners and customers.
  • Digital Tools & Capability Sessions: Leverage digital tools, capability sessions, and process improvements to ensure we are the first choice for our partners and customers.
  • Relationship Management: Manage relationships with key stakeholders at Axis Bank's circle/region office, acting as the nodal point for strategic decisions and planning periodic interventions for the life insurance business.
  • Channel Innovation & Delivery: Undertake key projects focused on channel innovation and delivery strategies.
  • Business Intelligence Support: Build business intelligence through ongoing analytics and environment scans.

 

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Execution Excellence

  • Ensure adherence to defined sales choreography across the hierarchy.
  • Conduct joint reviews with field sales leadership on mSMART benchmark adherence.
  • Build and implement governance rhythms with central office stakeholders across segments.
  • Conduct sessions with RA and CM teams to drive awareness and adoption.
  • Execute central strategic initiatives in collaboration with field leadership.
  • Drive channel objectives across key priority areas (Protection, Riders, Annuity, etc.).
  • Manage change across new processes and management objectives.

Employee Success

  • Execute learning interventions for RAs and CMs.
  • Collaborate with the Training Team to ensure the RA M1-M6 learning journey for new RAs.
  • Facilitate CATALYST programs for supervisors.
  • Drive incentive planning activities through the SAMPAN CALCULATOR for RAs.

Relationship Management

  • Act as the nodal point of contact for business relationship management and ongoing support with central and vertical teams.
  • Implement governance rhythms with central office stakeholders across segments.
  • Create dashboards and intelligence to highlight business performance and improvement areas.
  • Prepare periodic presentations on business progress with insights on improvement opportunities.
  • Build business intelligence through analytics and environment scans.
  • Enable sustained initiatives and short-term tactical interventions for business growth.
  • Resolve business partner queries within stipulated timeframes.

Channel Enablement & Strategic Initiatives

  • Prepare review and field presentations.
  • Manage KRAs for business partners.
  • Drive and implement new initiatives in collaboration with the Circle / Region Head.

Job Specification

  • Education: Management postgraduate from a Tier 1 B-School.
  • Experience: 3-4 years, preferably in strategy development or sales execution.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Proven ability to translate strategy into actionable plans, programs, and cultural initiatives.
    • Highly analytical with proficiency in handling complex data sets.
    • Strong understanding of financial forecasting and modelling with multiple assumptions/variables.
    • Ability to play a 'challenger' role while maintaining independence and supporting channel strategies.
    • Excellent communication skills, capable of connecting and inspiring colleagues at all organizational levels.
    • Sharp prioritization and delegation skills, adept at managing multiple priorities.
    • Competent in managing ambiguity and change.
