Job Title: Manager/Sr. Manager – Business Development - AAP

Band: 4/4A

Reporting To: Zone Head – AAP

Department: Agency

Function: Agency Enablement AAP

KEY RESPONSIBILITY: 

 

  • Exceed target on new Agency Associates in their respective patch
  • Enhance quantity and quality recruitment by Agency Associates
    • Emphasis on quality recruitment through one-on-one session.
    • Create mutual support platform to enable easier recruitment for Agency Associates
  • Enhance AFYP & Number of cases by Agency Associates
  • Responsible for training, developing & execution of AAP business
  • Increase retention of agents, Agency Associates to increase agent satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with various IRDA guidelines.
    • Timely contract of agency associates within regulatory guidelines.
    •  Monitoring IRDA guidelines impacting AAP channel at regional level.

 

  • Track competition regularly at regional level on various measures such as new strategies, new compensation models etc. with particular reference to AAP model developed by the competitors
  • Achieve URN & Coding plan assigned to the offices via AAP/AM/ADM (Direct Unit)

 

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

 

    • Add-on of AFYP & number of cases
    • Add-on of number of new agency associates
    • Recruitment ( contracted agents ) numbers
    • Case Rate & Case Size
    • Agent satisfaction survey
    • Accuracy and timeliness of information
    • AAP is within limits of IRDA jurisdiction
    • URN to Code efficiency while utilizing all the sources

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION:           

 

  • Post Graduate/MBA will be given preference

 

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

 

  • overall 7-8 years of sales experience.
  • Should have handled team/ minimum 2-3 years man-manager experience.
  • Should have minimum of 2-3 years of direct sales experience.
