JOB SUMMARY:

The role is responsible for shaping, implementing, and executing the channel strategy to drive business growth, optimize resource planning, and ensure effective market penetration. This position will focus on expanding the business by supporting new office openings, liaising with key departments, and developing strategic forecasts. Key responsibilities also include overseeing sales contests, driving performance metrics such as ECS penetration, collections, persistency, and market conduct, and conducting competition analysis. The individual will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure alignment and seamless service delivery, while also capitalizing on the defence market and maximizing market share.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Channel Strategy Development:

 

Understand and shape the overall strategy for the channel, ensuring it aligns with business goals and market needs.

 

  • Strategy Implementation & Business Analysis:

Develop detailed plans to materialize the strategy, with a focus on driving business performance. Continuously analyse business trends and adjust the strategy as necessary to capitalize on new opportunities.

  • Resource Planning & Alignment:

Align processes and resource planning with the overall strategy to optimize operations and achieve business targets.

 

  • New Office Expansion & Onboarding:

Support end-to-end new office expansion plans, ensuring a smooth on-boarding process for new offices and aligning resources for success.

 

  • Contest Design & Execution:

Collaborate with the Sales Promotion team to design contests and payout structures that drive desired outcomes and incentivize the team

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with internal departments (F&PA, BPMA, IT, and Training) to ensure seamless execution of business-related work and align with product-specific requirements.

Liaise with the Facility team to fulfil business requirements for GO operations and align with the IT Infra and Assets team to ensure the completion of necessary asset requirements.

 

  • Performance Metrics Management:

Oversee critical business performance metrics such as ECS penetration, collections, persistency, and market conduct. Drive improvements in these areas through continuous monitoring and strategic intervention.

 

  • Governance & Reporting:

Ensure that all important business vectors are tracked and reported using a RAG (Red, Amber, Green) system at the GO, regional, and channel levels, providing visibility on performance and

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Graduate / Post Graduate in any discipline (preferably MBA)
  • 10 - 15 years of experience in Defence Ops/sales/Strategy
  • Strong understanding of the business and excellent market network in this space
  • Analytical skills & process orientation
  • Strong presentation & communication skills
