KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help in building a world class digital capability for Group Operations by contributing in digital transformation agenda
  • Responsible for driving process and system changes including POC (proof of concept) to test out any new ideas
  • Responsible for holding the tech agenda of the department encompassing Group Asia, In-House Tools, new tools evaluation and system changes
  • The incumbent shall also collaborate with Banks/Partners/Sales/products to solve business problems in way that it is beneficial for both and with internal stakeholders to get the deliveries done as quickly as possible
  • Responsible for building all future journeys viz : New Platforms, Issuance, Servicing, Underwriting, Enhancements on Policy Processing systems
  • Able to Translate business needs into comprehensive requirement specifications, considering cultural nuances and regional variations to facilitate seamless implementation.
  • Ensure our systems are compliant to all Regulatory Provisions to ensure NIL outages
  • Responsible for coaching and mentoring Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to align objectives and critical success factors and ensuring that they are delivered on agreed timelines and cost
  • Responsible for reviewing project milestones, risks, deliverables and provide valid inputs to business partner, consultants and challenge them with conviction, wherever applicable
  • Responsible for early identification of risks of any program and escalate it to leadership team to resolve it quickly

Desired qualification and experience

  • Graduate/Post Graduate with strong Insurance Background. An MBA would be an added advantage.
  • ~ 5-6 years of experience either in IT, Business consulting, Insurance or BFSI industry
  • Should have basic understanding of latest digital technologies/platforms.
  • Familiarity and Experience in Group Asia is preferred
  • Strong proficiency in business requirement gathering, documentation, and analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Familiarity and Experience in software testing, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively across complex eco-system of diverse stakeholders
  • Self-driven and result oriented Individual
  • Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
