Last Date of Submission:

  • Appraise medical risks for life insurance application using factors such as age, occupation, medical history, financial standing and other relevant conditions that determine insurability
  • Appraise level of risk involved in applications with adverse medical findings where medical opinion or decision is necessary for acceptance/rejection of insurance coverage
  • Evaluate medical condition and analyze the test results of the applicants
  • Underwrite new and existing business
  • Recommend, accept, reject insurance coverage within limits set in the underwriting policy
  • Handle routine and non-routine and renewal cases
  • Refer difficult cases to superiors
  • Assessing financial documents and summarize the same.

 

Measure of Success:

 

  • Ensure adherence of  accuracy and TAT for underwriting of proposals
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements and reports exception.
  • Lead team of motivated professionals aligned to company goals
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders in terms of CSAT and DSAT.

 

 

 

 

Desired qualifications and experience:

 

Ø  Graduate with 5+ years of experience in Operations or related areas

  • MBBS / B.Sc (Hons) in Nursing/B.Pharm/BPT/Insurance Qualified preferred

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Candidates who have a performance rating of G2M2 & have completed 12 months in the current role
  • Candidates who have a performance rating of G3M3 & have completed 18 months in the current role
  • FOR LATERAL MOVEMENT, candidate should have completed atleast 12 months in the current role & have

       minimum performance rating of G3M3

 

Knowledge and skills required:

 

  1. Strong communication skills
  2. Strong GO / HO process knowledge  
  3. Eye for detail
  4. Good co-ordination skills
  5. Good Analytical Skills
  6. Computer knowledge (MS Office, MS Excel, MS Power Point) and Technical skills
