BRIEF PROFILE AND WORK EXPECTATIONS FROM THE CANDIDATE:
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IGAAP.
- Ensure timely submission of Audit Committee and Board deliverables, including policy reviews and closure of action taken reports (ATRs).
- Ensure full compliance with Accounting Standards, Companies Act 2013, SEBI LODR, and IRDAI regulations.
- Lead closure of statutory and internal audits, coordinating with auditors and internal teams.
- Monitor internal controls and financial policies to ensure robust governance and risk mitigation.
- Provide financial insights and support to senior management and department heads.
- Plan and oversee strategic finance projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Collaborate with IT teams to test system requirements, evaluate new functionalities, and manage change requests (CRs) for defect resolution and delivery
DESIRED COMPETENCES/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience.
- Mandatory experience in the life insurance Financial Reporting domain.
- Strong command of IGAAP, IND AS, SEBI LODR, and IRDAI regulatory frameworks.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
