Job Summary:

The Senior Manager – Sales Promotion is responsible for the end-to-end fulfilment of sales promotion campaigns, including timely communication rollout and execution. The role also encompasses complete ownership of the Life Advisor Program across the agency, driving sustained engagement through structured incentives, recognition initiatives, and effective management of advisor promotions and demotions. The incumbent will manage vendor coordination, budget adherence, and logistical operations to ensure smooth and timely delivery of contest rewards and program entitlements. Strong project management abilities, cross-functional collaboration, and a sharp focus on advisor experience and satisfaction are essential for success in this role.

 

Key Responsibilities/ Key Deliverables:

  • Drive end-to-end execution and fulfilment of sales promotion campaigns, communication rollout, and performance tracking.
  • Manage the Life Advisor Program at an agency level, ensuring continuous engagement through rewards, recognition, and structured growth paths.
  • Handle the promotion and demotion process of Life Advisors in accordance with defined program guidelines.
  • Monitor and control promotional budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization without compromising on quality or timelines.
  • Manage vendor partnerships for sourcing, procurement, and timely distribution of contest rewards and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as sales, finance, legal, and IT to ensure alignment and seamless execution of initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance standards and internal audit requirements across all promotional activities.
  • Innovate and propose new engagement initiatives to improve advisor motivation and retention.
  • Lead periodic reviews and presentations with senior leadership on program performance and enhancement opportunities.

Measures of Success:

 

  • 100% on-time delivery of contest rewards and program benefits as per defined timelines and SLAs.
  • Zero errors in promotion/demotion processing and reward allocation.
  • Execution of campaigns and fulfilments within allocated budgets, with measurable cost savings through effective vendor and resource management
  • Full adherence to internal audit, compliance, and documentation standards with no critical observations.

Desired qualification and experience

Job Specifications:

  • Graduation/Post Graduation
  • 8–12 years of total experience, with at least 4–6 years in sales promotion, marketing programs, or channel engagement roles
  • Proven track record in handling program budgets, vendor coordination, and campaign execution
  • Prior experience in managing large-scale incentive programs, reward fulfilment, and advisor/channel engagement (preferably in BFSI or insurance sector)

KEY COMPETENCIES/SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data interpretation and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, etc.)
  • Ability to handle high-pressure timelines and multitasking across multiple campaigns/programs
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving orientation
