LMS – Administrator (Manager/Senior Manager)

 

JOB SUMMARY:

 

The Learning Management System Administrator will be in charge of overseeing every aspect of the MLIC Digital Learning platform, including system development, testing, CUG, implementation, system setup, content management, ongoing maintenance, reporting, analytics, communication, system updates and upgrades, integrations, documentation, end user support, vendor coordination & the implementation of a digital learning strategy.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Implementation of Digital Learning strategy for all channels

  • Responsible for implementation of Digital training strategies to support DCC’s growth goals and strengthen the learning foundation
  • Presentation, updates & reporting to leadership team from time to time on the progress

System Development, Testing & Implementation

  • System Development & testing vendor management, coordination with IT Digital team making sure all functionalities are developed as per requirement
  • Lead the new system implementation & the change management agenda; Responsible for end users training, documentation, hyper care and bring system stability; streamline BAU operations & reporting; troubleshoot issues and outages

Communication, Change management & Training of employees

  • Responsible for all communication to all stakeholders about any changes as needed; Manage existing and new employee trainings about system
  • Will oversee all the development and requirements for DCC; Stakeholder Management across all groups

LMS Configuration & Set up

  • Setting up the LMS and complete configuring it to meet the channel needs. Examples are configuring learners, courses, learning journey, user roles & permissions, learning paths, training materials, badges, notifications, dashboards, custom certifications, channel specific user interfaces etc.
  • Gamification and Badges- Gamification, Leaderboards, and Badges. Create and manage certification and badge programs. Tasks include: Setting up the program; Creating the rules for awarding certifications and developing the criteria; Designing the certification process; Issuing the certificates.

LMS Maintenance

  • Maintaining a Learning Management System. Making sure that the operational performance of the software is on track. Providing technical leadership in support of the system
  • Working with LMS providers to remain up-to-date on system specifications and updates; Identifying any opportunities for process and quality improvements; Maintaining procedures to ensure the security and integrity of systems
  • Make sure that the LMS works properly and act fast if it comes to bugs and unexpected errors; Recognize and resolve the issues that may appear when it comes to course design, its configuration or infrastructure.; Make sure that the LMS works properly and act fast if it comes to bugs and unexpected errors.
  • Providing end-user support when needed; Help the learners with any issues
  • Single point of contact for LMS partner, MLIC Digital team, end users & Channel heads

LMS Integrations

  • LMS will be integrated with multiple internal or external system. LMS Admin will be responsible for configuring and maintaining all such integrations.

 

LMS Reporting & Analytics

  • Track progress and performance. custom reports for organizational leadership and stakeholders. Design reports that help identify the training program’s effectiveness
  • Design, conceptualise and timely release of all agreed reports & learning Dashboards to all channels
  • Identifying macro patterns and trends in data to improve the LMS and organizational performance
  • Use learning analytics to identify trends that indicate how the LMS is used and whether or not the LMS system investment is achieving established ROI goals effectively and efficiently. Based on an analysis of Learning patterns, Administrator will make recommendations for improvements

LMS System Documentation

  • The complexity of LMS implementations requires good documentation of the system configuration and processes
  • LMS Administrator will be responsible for maintaining system documentation, which may include the LMS user manual, LMS processes, LMS features, LMS configurations, LMS course structures, and LMS security.

 

 

Qualifications –
  • Minimum 6 to 7  years of working experience in managing the LMS or similar field
  • Bachelor's degree in IT systems, computer science, or similar field
 
Required Skills

 

Tech Skills:

  • Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Experience in managing data electronically; Strong tech Troubleshooting experience
  • Proficiency in eLearning software;
  • Proficiency in training curriculum development preferred
  • Systems Thinking; Good Familiarity with UX and UI

Analytical Skills & good knowledge of MS office:

  • Demonstrates exceptionally good analytical skills, an ability to translate raw information into meaningful reporting
  • Advance knowledge of Excel & good knowledge of PowerPoint to manage the reports and analytics & create visually and verbally engaging analysis reports and presentations for the learners, administrators, channel heads, business & management leadership
  • MS access, SQL & coding experience will be an added advantage

Communication & interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong communicator, both verbally and in written form
  • Has strong problem-solving skills, pays close attention to detail, is proactive, has a positive "can-do" attitude, is driven by results, and works well with others in a group setting.
  • He or she needs to be able to collaborate effectively with corporate executives and leadership, be able to multitask, and achieve stringent deadlines.
