Role Objective

To drive performance, growth, and engagement of the NRI Business in the IMF vertical, and support top advisor engagement thru MIS dashboarding in the Agency channel.


Key Responsibilities

1) NRI Business Development & Strategic Initiatives – IMF Channel

  • Drive NRI business for the PAN India IMF channel to achieve NRI plan, penetration, and growth.
  • Design and execute targeted business development strategies to promote overall NRI Business in the IMF vertical.
  • Facilitate training programs and knowledge workshops on NRI for employees, partners, and through NRI customer webinars.
  • Provide NRI sales support including attending NRI sales calls.
  • Support NRI-related documentation, underwriting, operations, and banking matters as required.
  • Create visibility around NRI business in the IMF channel to accelerate growth.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with all Zonal Vice Presidents (ZVPs), Regional Managers (RMs), and Office Heads (OHs) of the IMF channel to promote and gain mindshare on NRI business through data-driven insights.

2) Training & Best Practices Sharing on NRI Business

  • Conduct training sessions for partners and employees on NRI business.
  • Curate and disseminate best practices, success stories, and case studies across the advisor network.
  • Facilitate peer learning platforms, webinars, and "Power Talks" for top advisors.

3) Support on Top Advisor Engagement with MIS Dashboarding – Agency Channel

  • Support in curating strategies for Top Advisors, MDRT, and EC Advisors of the Agency channel with required MIS Dashboarding in Excel & PPT.
  • Collaborate with ZLPCs, LPCs, and BDMs to develop recovery/action plans for top advisors.
  • Organize Top Advisor Meets, FDGs, and other strategic engagement forums with MDRTs, Top, and EC Advisors.
  • Ensure timely updates on program enhancements, recognition, and new initiatives for top advisors.

4) Strategic Planning on NRI Business

  • Design a strategy to meet the monthly NRI plan and drive deep-dive actions in impacted zones and regions.
  • Create visibility through NRI EDMs and build sales stories around NRI.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the NRI Business.
  • Good Knowledge of Excel Formulas, Pivot table, V/H LOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.
  • Should able to create PPT independently
  • Well-versed in life insurance products.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills (Excel, Power point, dashboards).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience in channel sales, insurance distribution, or working closely with field sales/advisor force.
  • Program management skills with meticulous attention to detail and adherence to timelines.
  • Strategic mindset with a problem-solving approach to handle high-value advisor queries and escalations.

Desired qualification and experience - Job Specifications:

  • Graduate
  • Candidate’s background to be from NRI banking or NRI Insurance from the same area with experience of at-least 3-4 years of selling LI, CASA and other savings instruments to NRIs.
  • Should be at-least G3/M3 in last Performance cycle and should have been in the current role for at-least 15 months
