Job Summary
The Head of Project Management for New GCL Partnerships, Onboarding & Activation will be responsible for leading and managing all strategic and operational projects related to the onboarding and activation of new group credit life insurance partnerships. This role will ensure seamless integration of partner operations with the company’s insurance offerings, driving growth, operational efficiency, and compliance. The role demands a strong blend of project management expertise, stakeholder management, insurance domain knowledge, and strategic leadership
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Leadership & Management
Lead end-to-end project management for onboarding new GCL partnerships, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets aligned with business objectives.
Ensure timely and successful delivery of onboarding and activation projects, meeting scope, quality, and cost expectations.
Identify project risks and mitigation strategies, ensuring proactive resolution of issues.
2. Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with internal teams (Underwriting, Claims, Sales, IT, Compliance, Operations) to align onboarding processes.
Serve as the primary liaison with new GCL partners for onboarding and activation activities.
Manage expectations and communications with all stakeholders, including partners and senior management.
3. Process Optimization & Compliance
Design, implement, and continuously improve onboarding and activation workflows for new GCL partnerships.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all onboarding processes.
Establish standardized project governance, reporting, and documentation practices.
4. Partnership Enablement
Work closely with business development and sales teams to understand new partnership requirements and tailor onboarding strategies.
Facilitate smooth integration of partner systems with the company’s underwriting and policy administration platforms.
Support activation efforts to ensure partner engagement and readiness for policy issuance and servicing.
5. Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers and coordinators focused on GCL partnership onboarding.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
6. Reporting & Analysis
Provide regular project status updates and performance metrics to senior management.
Analyze project outcomes and partner feedback to drive future improvements.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience (15+ years) in project management within insurance or financial services, with at least 8 years in leadership roles and Deep understanding of Group Credit Life insurance products and related processes.
Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the insurance domain.
