Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Strategy & Growth:
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth and revenue targets for Group Credit Life insurance within the assigned area.
    • Identify market opportunities, potential clients (banks, NBFCs, financial institutions), and partnerships to expand the credit life insurance portfolio.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt business strategies.
  • Team Leadership & Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales managers, field officers, and support staff to achieve sales and operational goals.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and development programs for the team.
    • Foster a high-performance culture emphasizing discipline, ethics, and customer-centricity.
  • Sales & Client Relationship Management:
    • Drive sales initiatives and ensure consistent achievement of sales targets for Group Credit Life insurance.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients such as banks, NBFCs, and other financial institutions.
    • Negotiate and finalize agreements or contracts with partners and clients.
  • Operational Excellence & Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies related to Group Credit Life insurance.
    • Oversee the smooth onboarding of new group credit life schemes and timely processing of policies.
    • Monitor the quality of service delivery including claims handling and premium collection.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Prepare and submit regular business reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management.
    • Analyze business performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Cross-functional Coordination:
    • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, finance, and marketing departments to streamline processes and enhance customer experience.
    • Participate in product development and market feedback loops.
