This role presents an opportunity to Head a Region in the ‘Elite Vertical’ under Agency Distribution. Elite Vertical is a dedicated vertical focusing on recruitment and development of proven top performing advisors/financial distributors across top cities in India. The Cluster head will be responsible for handling 5-6 circles with each circle having a dedicated team of 1 circle head and 10 managers. The Cluster Head will supervise the team of circle heads and managers and will drive month-on-month recruitment and activation of top performing distributors in the assigned territory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for establishing and scaling ‘Elite Vertical’ as a strategic revenue generating channel within Agency in the assigned territory
You will be responsible for designing & leading the strategy to scale up recruitment of Top Advisors from Competition/Financial Distributors and drive revenue for the cluster
You will lead the development of this channel in key markets (regions mapped to the cluster) nationally through managing a hierarchy of 5 Elite Circle Head(s) and ~50 Manager(s) reporting to the Circle Head(s)
Drive top line growth in these markets by recruitment of Top advisors/ Financial distributors as Insurance Managers / Business Associates by identifying micro-markets with base of Top advisors/ Financial distributors
Understand the Top Advisor/ Business Associate value proposition, regulatory environment related to the same, build efficiency
Participate in the development of ‘Elite Vertical’ Business plan & provide inputs on departmental goals to Elite Vertical Head
Introduce and run effective feedback mechanism (employees, customers, Insurance Managers, Business Associates, Market)
Build an effective and stable sales organization, ensure timely recruitment of open positions to avoid loss of business due to unfulfilled manpower demand
Engage with direct/ skip level reports on performance management issues and monitor the implementation of processes on a broader basis
Provide inputs on feasibility and efficiency into operational processes from field perspective
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
Recruitment of Top Advisors/Financial
Distributors from competition
Achievement of planned sales volume in the assigned territory
MBA / Post graduate with 12+ years of experience, minimum 9 years’ experience in Life Insurance sector
Should have similar market exposure and experience in process driven, quality sales organizations
Prior experience of leading zone / region in sales organization and proven sales track record
Knowledge of dealing with partners, financial distributors, top advisor cohort favorable
Familiarity with skills in recruitment, supervision & development of teams, strong networking prowess
Ability to execute business strategies for achieving business targets and New initiatives
