VP & Program Head – Emerging Channels, One Axis, Digital & New Initiatives

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

 

  • New Opportunity Identification – ONE AXIS

 

    • Market study of various distribution models in bancassurance including  Alternate Channel space
    • Structuring development models and process for new channels like transaction banking, SME, phone based channels, credit cards and digital channels.
    • Evaluating possibilities of modulations of distribution models, process restructuring, product reorientation through regular & structured interaction with the field (internal as well as bancassurance partner)
    • Structuring key projects on the identified themes post agreement with management
    • Responsible for hunting new opportunities within the ONE AXIS universe – Conventional / New Age
    • Enable closure of product proposition and process to initiate farming.
    • Own BOT – Build – Operate – Transfer of these new channels.

 

  • Channel Management Support

 

    • Campaign Design & Execution
    • Ensure Channel partner week wise engagement drive as defined in the monthly calendar for all channels. Ensuring Month planning, road-map for the month etc
    • Manage comprehensive and quality input decks for Channel partner monthly and weekly reviews- Region wise /segment wise in-depth analysis to drive business
    • Setting up Internal governance rhythm, review decks, other in-depth analysis to drive MLI business and ensuring OA share
    • Proactively ensuring region/segment wise inputs to Business head and develop strategies to drive Sales, ensuring persistency and other quality vectors
    • Collaborate with Regional heads and segment managers to align central strategy and other efforts to improve on sales and other quality vectors. Provide support and inputs as and when required
    • Other marketing/Sales excellence initiatives for the month
    • All visibility related initiatives – Campaign EDMs, highlighting performers, other initiatives highlights etc
    • Regulatory compliance

 

 

  • Digital & New Initiatives

 

    • Anchor the Digital KO for the Max Life Axis Bank Partnership
    • Responsible for ensuring digital leadership for Axis Max Life @ Axis Bank
    • Participate & collaborate for IT related projects/developments as per channels requirement.
    • Identifying and driving new initiative to ensure thought leadership for Axis Max Life @ Axis Bank
    • Product and Segment Innovation

 

  • Channel Enablement & Strategic Initiatives
    • Preparation of Review and Field presentations
    • Management Presentations – Axis Max Life & Axis Bank
    • Manage KRA for Business Partner
    • Drive and implement new initiatives by working closely with the Department Head
    • Liaise with Compliance, Legal, Operations, Finance, MIS, Marketing, Actuaries and other functions for timely resolution of queries and issues
  • Business Intelligence
    • Create ongoing dashboards and intelligence to highlight business performance and areas of improvement across key business vectors
    • Prepare periodic presentations on business progress with insights on opportunities of improvement
    • Building business intelligence through Analytics & environment scan
    • Enabling sustained initiatives and short term tactical interventions for business augmentation
    • Resolve Business Partner queries within the stipulated time
    • OA Share Insighting
    • Understanding of IRDA & other regulatory guidelines for seamless implementation

  • Achievement of Sales Growth Objective and OA Share of the channel
  • Number of new channels / opportunities enabled
  • Timely and reasonable estimate of sales, related key metrics and expenses.
  • Achievement of Sales Objective of mapped channels.

  • Consistency, Accuracy & TAT adherence as per the activity
  • Process improvements
  • Quality of Reports conceptualized under Performance framework
  • Timely execution of all digital projects
  • Meeting of D2C Targets of the channel

 

 

 

 

MINIMUM/SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE

 

  • 12-14 years of total experience
  • MBA /Post Graduate/Graduate
  • Excellent skills in Excel, VBA and SQL
  • Excellent Verbal and articulation skills
  • Understanding of IT tools/automation techniques
  • Strong Program / Channel Management Experience
  • Project Management Skill
